After Israeli airplanes hit multiple Houthi sites in the Arabian Peninsula nation, the Israeli military said it had intercepted a missile fired from Yemen early on Sunday.

During its nine-month fight against Hamas, Israel is not known to have retaliated against repeated Houthi attacks until these airstrikes, which were carried out in reaction to a fatal Houthi drone strike on Tel Aviv. Israel is fighting a number of Iranian proxies throughout the region, and the recent conflict between the far-off foes has the potential to create a new front.

Israeli Army said:

It claimed that the F-15 and F-35 fighter planes built in the United States carried out the strikes in retaliation for hundreds of Houthi attacks.

The Israeli military claimed that the strike on Saturday, which occurred some 1,700 kilometers (more than 1,000 miles) from Israel, was one of the most intricate and far-reaching operations carried out by its air force, and that it targeted the port because the region is used to transport Iranian weapons to Yemen.
